That's the toughest peach fuzz you've ever seen. You bite in to that it'll break your teeth.

I burn out a Gillette Fusion in one shave, two tops. It was one of the reasons I started looking into the DE/SE blades. I have Homer Simpson's beard. :D

  9. Can I get a sample of your hair. I heard they are looking for new material for bullet prove vests :D

If any of the new wetshavers in the thread would like a DE blade sampler let me know.
I've kind of got a few different blades.....

    What have you used?

Astra is always a good one IMO. Personna Med/Lab is another.

Crystal from West Coast Shaving is my go to blade. Blue pack personas are a good deal as well. shave great and 12 to 14 cents per blade.

Personna Blues I call them. I never know if it's the Labs or the Meds.
    Great blades!

    Perma Sharp Super or Stainless
    Personna Lab/Med
    Astra Superior Stainless
    Gillette Platinum
    Voskhod
    Gillette 7OC Platinum (blacks)
    Gillette Sharp Edge (yellows)
    Feathers

Those are my favorite blades. Probably have a few more I like but can't remember.
The list of blades that don't work for me is much longer.

using Merkur's right now, just new so haven't tried anything really

Merkur's are hit and miss with a lot of wet shavers. If they work for you, great, but if not there are other brands that more people agree are better.

Jason is too modest, he runs the Great Blade Exchange on the mothership...

  19. Thanks Toothpick and Jim. I just went and got myself a few years supplies of feathers :eek I am still trying to work out angles but not that successful atm. I can't hear well enough for hair popping so the angle is too sharp :(
