Anyone here fly fish? I'm just getting started again.

    Used to test out my fly rod at dusk in Vermont. The practice flies I tied had no barbs or hooks, just a shaft. The bats were constantly nailing them mid cast. Dry flies were cool, but generally had better results with wet flies.

    I won a crazy sweet custom fly reel at an ABS sanctioned hammer in last weekend, Cant get over how light it is!

    Luckily for me, it's not at all about catching fish. If it were, I'd hardly enjoy any of the time I spend fishing!
