The kitchen is looking like a kitchen. Its a little cramped. Yet will work well. There's easy access to everything!! House remod. Update pictures. 001 (800x533).jpg View attachment 2300

is that your fridge with the glass door?
I want one. "they" say it really saves energy because you don't have to open it every time you are "just looking".

I wondered if that was the same tub that they had hidden. Looks great. I'll be interested to see how that finish holds up.
    Good job.

Yep this is the same tub that was covered and hidden in the bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the original porcelain finish was when I removed the layers of crud and paint that was applied over it. The finish I added is a 2 part spray applied finish made for this application. I hope it holds up well.

Anyone have experiance with this sort of stuff? This is a first for me!

Lisa chose all the appliances. and the fridge with the glass door was tops on her list right after the Viking stove. ;) She also chose a stand alone freezer which will be in the walk in pantry off the kitchen. Pretty shnazzy if ya ask me.!!! lol I have never had a fancy fridge or stove so I am excited and Blessed knowing I will be able to enjoy these new toys!

Still got lots of work to do on the place,. Yet things are finally starting to feel like there coming together!

    God Bless

Thanks Guys!! Randy Jr and I spent the day today Building the dog run. We have 2 dogs and they are both runners. So we let them outside in a fenced area so they don't take off or worst yet get hit by a car or something. Anyways. The new dog run was started and completed in one day! and its pretty nice if I do say so myself! Its about 2 times the size of the current one. Im sore and tired and hurting. But its GOOD to be alive and we both had a great feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day as we sat back and gazed upon what is surly the nicest dog run we have ever made! LMAO!!! :D One more thing off the list!

    God Bless

Whoot!!! Making more progress and I have finally started working on the new SHOP!!! This is a amazing and exciting time. As we set up the electrical, lighting, ventilation, heat and cooling and insulation and wall coverings!!

The NEW shop will be on independent power with its own meter. To make this happen. we had to trench some underground and start the electric wiring from scratch. Lots of work and yet amazing fun working with a ditch witch to make the trench!!

I have also started moving boxes and stuff from here to there! a little every day. should make the real MOVE a bit easier. and less stressful..

In all we are moving forward and I fully expect to have the 2014 Hammer In at the new shop. :)

Stay sharp my friends and thanks to everyone for your words of encouragement as well as your patience and kindness!

    Blessings
    Randy

Super stoked. The carpet will be installed Monday. and then the house is done.. Or at least its as done as we are gona make it B4 moving in! Theres a list of small stuff that still need finished. ALL of these things dont effect the functionality of the house to be a home!

I have ordered the secret sealer stuff that gona make the chop floor 100% dry and stop moisture from coming through the concrete slab. Also started the installation of the ceiling drywall. and insulation. and have figured out what I am gona do for the interior walls.

All in all. I feel we have totally rounded the corner on this project and are in the home stretch! Sorry for the lack of images. I never seem to remember to take pictures as Im working.

Just wanted to share with you all as I count many of you as friends or family! Thanks for your moral support and to my clients waiting for there knives. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
