Here's a peek at what's coming up next at Dream Burls.

Top two rows are the natural hardwood Bocote. Next is a row of Malaysian Blackwood followed by two rows of highly figured Arizona Desert Ironwood. The bottom row is stabilized quarter sawn Wenge.

This is just a representative sampling. There are more where these came from. Not sure when they'll be listed. As soon as tomorrow or maybe Friday.

I also have some new Odds and Ends coming in.

That blackwood looks interesting! I really like the layered marbled effect it has going on. I'll try and keep an eye out for more pics when they're on the site... Might have to snag a block to keep in reserve for something special :)

Not sure I answered your question correctly Butch, depends on what you're referring to as "end grain". After looking at the picture again it's probably the Malaysian Blackwood. Looks like end grain, but it's actually the figure of the wood. The species are listed in the post with the picture so take another look and you'll know.

That blackwood went pretty quickly. Can hardly wait to see a handle made of this stuff!

Yes. When you have really nice stuff and you price it right it goes quick.

I'd also like to see a finished handle made of it. Maybe someone will post one of these days.
