Placement looks good too. Closer to spine and handle is probably the most common placement, and that's about where you have it.

I am not planning on any opening sale , I despite my goal of not taking custom orders I took some local ones and I have a little backlog that I am trying to deliver . I already have used this forum more than I should have as hobbyist and don't want to clog up more with my sale threads .

One last before I start a special project with a dyed maple burl and nice HHH Damascus for a friend




255 mm tall workhorse gyuto in Aebl , Meiji style d shaped ringed gidgee and blond buffalo handle . Hoping to finish this along with another custom this weekend and then , take a week off from cooking and knives and go visit very talented knifemaker. I will post pictures of my trip, time to meet powerhammer in person !!!

Thanks Anton , I usually look for small blemishes as an excuse to add the knife to my work rotation but i am so happy with it I am thinking about putting up for sale rather than keep in it for myself
