ooo im sure someplace truffels the thing or makes it with hamster milk or some other crazyness

 

I remember that recipe! I had a friend whose granny made batches of it. We used to suck it down whenever it was offered.

These days I drink it a lot less sweet. Cocoa powder, sugar, a little salt, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon. Add just enough milk to make a paste out of the dry ingredients. Add more milk, a dollop of cream, and heat. Remove from heat, add some vanilla. Don't usually add marshmallows, but I confess there's a bag of them in the pantry just in case...
