Donut Burger!

Just saw this on a news website

2 burgers with bacon and cheese between 2 glazed donuts!
The pub chain involved has been criticised for selling it, the artical is here

 

Criticized? Because there are only 2 slices of bacon on it no doubt.

I don't like tomatoes so on my BLT It's just mayo, lettuce, and bacon.
I was explaining my distaste for tomatoes to someone and they said "so what do you put on your BLT's?"
I gave them that are you stupid look and said "duh..more bacon!"

 

Seriously? Just glazed??? 2 No WONDER people are criticizing it. Glazed doughnuts are for people who never eat doughnuts and therefore don't know what to order when they get to the counter. They have a vague recollection of a kid down the street selling stale ones every now and then to raise money for team uniforms, but that's about all they know.

Unless you're talking Crispy Kremes...hot & fresh, as you stand at the counter at 2 in the morning, watching those little dough rings float across the hot oil, then ride up the conveyor under a waterfall of glaze, then eating them while they're still hot enough to take the skin off the roof of your mouth. Follow them with a Frosted Orange (FO) from the Varsity in Atlanta, and you are set with a sugar high that will take the place of sleep for many hours.

 

Looks good, sounds like a good excuse to make some donuts and then try this....
