270mm suminagashi kiritsuke tip sujihiki

    Another knife that I managed to finish , 270mm suminagashi kiritsuke tip sujihiki . This one was originally for chuck the butcher to match his suminagashi gyuto , but with him passing away suddenly I had set aside . First time I made a kiritsuke tip, In terms of centering the core and manipulating the pattern one of my best . It is water quenched around 62hrc , symmetrical ground . 40mm tall at the heel , 4mm thick at the spine tapering to 1.2mm just before the tip.
    Handle is octagonal mallee burl with brass spacer and walrus Ivory ferrule , this one is sold too , thanks for looking
