Someone's gotta have a good story..

For those of you who aren't familiar with me, I am a starter of many short lived and ultimately unsuccessful threads. I seek to continue this trend as I have a couple beers in me and feel inspired to ask,
Does anyone have a good story about getting a little blasted and feeling like it was an awesome time to sharpen their knives? The mishaps, the regrets, the scandals that ensued, just lay it all out people.

I don't drink very often...but if I do and there are mishaps, regrets, and scandals...it usually involve an ex, or another person of the opposite gender that I generally have the sense to avoid when sober.

Even I'm smart enough to stay away from my knives drunk, lol.

 

You are officially my new favourite person. Seriously. That is one of the funniest things I've read on here.

I don't have any good story's sorry! I have to say I've never sharpened drunk. the best I can come up with is one time I was trying to show off my knife skills at a party (drunk) by chopping an onion whilst looking at people in the eyes not at the onion. I succeeded in cutting a decent chunk out of the knuckle on my index finger. Not so impressive

 

Havin' a few beers at a BBQ and carving some meet or cut up some veg shouldn't be a problem.
Just have to remember to put the knife away before getting drunk.

 

the way my (practice) knife looks after I sharpen, would probably have onlookers some i was drunk when i did it... maybe if I drank i would be able to hold the knife at a consistent angle lol

 

I haven't sharpened a knife while intoxicated but I have spent plenty of money buying knives and accessories while intoxicated. Booze, credit cards and the internet don't mix!

 

OK, so this doesn't really count because there wasn't a knife involved. Last year whilst slightly intoxicated I decided it was time for a good plancha slap, I had done this many many times unscathed by my time had finally come...

 

Okay..... now I'm awake. First thing I see on my phone in the morning lol. Thats liveleak worthy, if you recorded whatever a plancha slap is. Lol

 

Hehe I remember few years back, when I bought my first real knife Global G-2, and when I thought that it is the best knife in the world I decided to show that to my friend. The point is that it was new years eve and we have been intoxinated (not neccessary with alcohol) and then I showed him how sharp is my knife. Hehehe when I woke up at the morning I found out blood drops everywhere. Hehe I think that I had cut myself Now I had my lesson and never use sharpest knives when drunk
