  1. Standing ovations, Greg!

I'll have to show this to my wife so we could arrange installation of a grinder into our bathroom.

  2. Haven't received the parcel yet or is it not me? :D
    Seriously though, nice work, mate!

Thanks guys for your input. I really didn't think that I will receive so many good words. Your compliments just have started hurting me. heheheh. It's time to make another one.

You see I am doing all heavy work in my bathroom, because it's easiest to clean place in my one bedroom flat. I can take everything from there, setup my belt grinder, do the work and then clean everything. It's annoying if you have to wake up everyday early, do the thing, clean and then go to work, but I am doing that since some time now and I think that I used to it. I would like to use those 2 hours of setting up and cleaning for grinding, but as we Polish people are saying: ''If you don't have what you like, you must like what you have''. I hope that it makes sense:D

I wouldn't usually use it Lefty, but tang was very small on that knife and there was not way of holding it comfortably. As you can see on the grinding video, I had not much space between belt, grinder and sides of it.

Quite long Taylor. I started on 7th of February. At the beginning I was making three kitchen knives and few neck knives. I took my time and in between had many other projects like handles, sayas, few blog projects and also I've been on holiday in Italy and JNS gathering. I think that I could make it quite quick. I have wasted too much time.

Anyway guys. Thank you again. The next one is coming soon.....somewhere in the future:D

My my my, very nice Greg. I particularly like the way the saya hugs the ferrule. Really nice design. Keep up the good work.

For sure, I'm really amazed how you've made it. As Cris said, I'll show these videos to all of people having none place to realize their selves.
    Like!
For the knife - hope I can make something common. Good work!

  9. That is damn nice.

I salute you and your craftsmanship!

  10. Thanks for posting this Greg. It's great to see that there are people out there that are this passionate about their tools. I hope it inspires more budding craftsmen (and women) to pursue their dreams.

  11. Looks like a great knife and that bathroom grinding is something else!
