    I'm moving house. In the "grand clean" I found a 20 year old bottle of Chateau Boutisse Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. It's already moved house with me once, and there's no space on the next voyage.

    Vinegar or nectar? Place your bets. I'm off to find a corkscrew.

    Ah well. It was nasty.

    The cork had started to rot, so signs were bad as soon as the corkscrew came out with half a cork attached.

    The remainder of the cork crumbled. I tried it anyway :er

    Not good. I may have to make some vinegar, since it's 3/4 of the way there anyway!

    In this case, I was probably not careful enough with storage. Hell, the things been 'lost' in the depths of a garage for 10 years!

    I guess I coulda shown it a little more love... :(
