    friend emailed me work sent him to Tokyo and he has some time off to shop for knives but is unsure what names to look for and im not sure what to tell him
    sooooo
    im guessing bang for th buck knives he can get while over there?
    who are the makers to catch?

    not for me friend has 2 of my knives and is getting a parer shortly but thought if he was there he could pick up a piece or 2

    There were several threads regarding shoppings for knives in Japan and when it comes to Tokyo most people recommend visiting Kappabashi Street where lots of kitchen related shops are located. I guess he could find something he likes there.
