Alexanderwerk bread slicer

    Hey guys, my father is looking for a bread slicer. Do you know where i could find one? (I live in Sweden)

    Sorry, I have never seen one. They look cool, (seems like a knife would be easier) but still cool.
     
  5. Yeah, a regular knife would be easier. Not as fun though, I wonder how well it works...
     
  6. I agree with Alton Brown: single use appliances take up too much space, and I already have way too much cast iron sitting around. My bread slicer is a positive-serrated Carl Schlieper Eye Brand 12" carbon steel knife, which conveniently fits in my knife block.
     
  7. That's a baguette guillotine. Should be useful if you are planning a bread revolution.
     
  8. Yeah, he won't use it on a daily basis. Just for the looks!
     
  9. I have one just like that if you're still looking & would also pay the P&P from the UK. It was also used for slicing rye bread :)
