Did this pen happen to be full of ink when it made its trip to the pine barrens?

I only have four Pelikans. Those M200 and 2 140's. The 140's multiply faster than the 200 do. Knives multiple faster than pens.

Crap! Now pens?? I just bought a bloody pipe! and I don't even smoke! So me thinks that being able to write, this potential pen accusition disorder could bring an end to my reasonably happy existence!

I'm still amazed at how far your writing has come since you started James.

 

You're amazed ?, you should see my face whenever I look down at this stuff and realize im the only one in the room thus it really did have to be my handy work lol, although I slowed way down when my 912 hit the floor from the Germy Shep accident around christmas, I need to get that out to Fudge to fix it for me so I can be at peace again. that really was a crushing blow

 

This was tragic. Definitely get that fixed.

Forget about this writing stuff, let's talk about that pipe.

 

Yeah take out your best pen ink and paper and write down everything you hate about the pipe and pen your having to use and how you could have bought a great pen if it were not for that pipe... then send that pipe to me for proper destruction and ill personally select the perfect pen for you... to buy yourself, cause im that kind of guy

 

I picked up a Peterson's 2011 St Patrick's Day shape #221 in briar.

Also ordered 2 blanks of Greek briar 150 years old, aged/dried for 25 years. Also ebonite mouthpieces. Planning a pair of bulldogs.

 

James! That hardly sounds like a good plan... I loose a pipe, and have to buy a pen? Still kinda interested in a pen, used to do calligraphy in my younger years. Built a quill, had replaceable nibs, little bottle of india ink... Now I use crappy ball points!

If you want to play qith dips I can recommend some great stuf... its even cheap, for fountain pens Italic calligraphy pens are cheap. (Look at pilot parellels amazing performance and inexpensive) but flex In fountain pens are not so easy or cheap, but if thats qhat you want I know a source for that as well in a modern modified FP that will work

 

LOL, this site is going to turn into members getting their hooks into each other from whatever side they're on.

The script in the little note you penned above seems close, not sure of the scale, maybe a tad narrower?

 

If you could share a comfortable price range, I can show you a few different items within that range with some differences that may appeal to you... dont have to buy but at least get some window shopping done and see a few of the many options and features different pens offer

 

Well, I can only imagine where this will lead, but lets say $150-$200 for a starting line. If its like knives, I know picking a bottom line for price usually leaves the guy asking questions with his jaw on his lap!
