    Great eye Mark - I asked Mario to make both "tallish" with the gyuto > 50 mm (closer to 55) and the petty >= 35 mm ...

    Cheflarge - never cut with them but I have be ogling them for quite some time ... couldn't resist when Mario joined up and jumped on his list immediately - he is an absolute stand up guy to work with & has been very generous with his time/thoughts ... once I get them (next week some time) will follow up with thoughts on their performance ... really, really looking forward to it.

    Hey, if they cut as good as the one I just got, you'll be on top of the world. Mine is 55mm tall at the heel as well (see the ironwood one he posted recently). Came in today and I spent a little time with it. So far so good.
