Corned Beef Hash- The "other" bacon?

Hell yeah!

I make hash out of anything. My favorite has been leftover smoked turkey from Thanksgiving. I've even used hot dogs. If I am ever foolish enough to own my own place it will be a daily special using yesterday's meat.

 

There is a very old luncheonette in Jamaica, Queens called Maxie's that serves corned beef every Thursday lunch and you guessed it, corned beef hash for breakfast every Friday morning, You have to beat all the LIRR crews to it though and those guys start early. Add a toasted onion bagel..... mmmm

 

A nice Roast Beef is on the menu for Friday..... Looks like Hash this weekend !!!!!

 

Try pastrami hash, pretty darn good.

 

I'd be a disgusting fat body , well more than I already am, if I lived there.

 

I just had corned venison 3 times this week Forgot to make hash, though. Next time!

Would it be wrong to get corned beef, just to make into hash? lol

 

corned beef belongs on rye with krout and 1k island dressing

 

On the other hand I never met a corned beef that would not make a great pastrami.

This inspired a midnight feast from me, at least I did some potatoes for breakfast but couldn't help myself...
