This is the first knife to have installed a pre-made wa handle supplied by James of Knives and Stones. Using one of these pre-made handles allows me to make a knife quicker which is a huge savings in labor to which I am passing along to my customers in the way of a reduced price. I hope that this is the first of many!

Nice looking knife, Dave! Interesting to see a pre-made handle on one of yours, seems like a good idea to offer a lower cost option but keeping the quality up there

 

I've been racking my brain for a long time trying to figure out a way to make my knives faster and also less expensive but I've never been keen on dropping the quality level so it's not been something that I have been able to figure out. However, I recently decided that maybe I'd go with pre-made Japanese handles if I could find some nice enough but then James from Knives and Stones stepped in with his handle offer and it all of a sudden became a reality to give quality with a cheaper price point - WIN-WIN!
