Flexible stainless filet/boner, excellent for taking apart fish or meat - excellent edge retention, takes a very sharp edge. Used and recently sharpened. Workhorse that I don't reach for anymore.

    Takashima Awasedo from JKI (Medium)
$130 including tracked and insured CONUS shipping.

Specs are listed on JKI's site.

Great stone, produces mud easily, excellent finisher. Not much to say other than a reliable finisher for most kitchen knife uses. I am moving stones due to unexpected expenses, and other stones are seeing more use.
*Note the stone has a superficial crack on the top that does not effect sharpening. Please see photos for more, and note in the side and bottom shots, the crack does not run through the stone. Also, the stone is not attached to the base, but I will gladly provide the base if you want to reattach.

Gesshin 4000 Soaker Stone from JKI
$100 including tracked and insured CONUS shipping.

    http://www.japaneseknifeimports.com/sharpening-supplies/shiage-toishi/gesshin-4000-grit-stone.html

Specs are listed on JKI's site - the only change is the loss of 5mm off the thickness (now just a hair over 20).

Excellent synthetic soaker finisher. The stone leaves an outstanding edge for most kitchen tasks. Surprisingly fast for this grit. I am moving away from synth soakers, so this needs to go.
*Note - there is a crack along one side of the stone that runs through the stone. I confirmed with Jon after purchasing that these cracks are cosmetic and stable and will not effect sharpening (see note on JKI about cosmetics). I have used it for well over a year as a perma-soaker, and have not had any issues with additional cracking.
