Honyaki yanagiba

I was asked few times to make single bevel knives , tried few , this is the first one I am happy with the results so far.

Before etching to reveal the hamon pattern
Still need to sand the ura and clean the blade little bit . I will upload more pics along , this has been a fun journey , looking forward to the final knife

So here we are , after many hours of polishing ,
scratching the blade and re polishing it is finally done . I have used snake wood for the octagonal handle , walrus Ivory ferrule and Mokume tip . I am quite pleased with the way it turned out
