Congrats to you and your daughter Pierre! I had the privilege of attending my daughters grad about a month ago and it's a great feeling indeed :)

I hope you showed the prospective boyfriends your knife collection.

I recently had one of my daughter's suitors help me throw a dufflebag full of bricks into the Passaic River, telling him "You didn't see nuthin'."

Well Jay, the speech went like this...

"Well son, we need to chat for a moment.
Just so you know, I expect nothing but the best for my little girl, and should she not get that, I just want you to be aware, that I was taught in the military, to shoot milk jug sized targets from distances well past 1000m."

"I also bow hunt, so if a need arises, a silent shot can be taken from around 80 yards."

"Oh yeah, as you know I make knives, and again learned key points in the military, how to efficiently put them to a desired use."

"Just so we're on the same page, should I need to defend my little girl, or her honor, I won't be needing either of those items. I tend to be hands on, this ol' bear knows how to take care of his cubs."

"I expect her home by 10, have a nice time, and tell your folks they have a lovely home!"

She was back at 9:45! :D
