saw a unique Gyuto with a deer antler handle

Discussion in 'The Kitchen Knife' started by Tonyknifeloverrrrr, Oct 7, 2024.

  1. According to the description, the antler is from Japanese Sika deer.

I think this combination is quite special and uncommon, like a classic RANDALL MADE handcrafted antler handle paired with a Japanese-style Gyuto.

Kurouchi is my favorite finish, and the knife has stainless steel cladding with Aogami #2 core steel.

I imagine it would be very practical to use!
What do you think of this type of knife?
It should be pretty functional, right?

The knife is pretty but I don't think I'd care for antler.
