Super Stainless 240 F/S

Hey guys. This is a steel that I did extensive HT testing on for a large company last year. The resulting HT formula sure was worth the efforts! I cant say who or what knives. But I will say................ :spiteful: Yea. Thats all I can say.. Besides that if your one who LOVES the high wear resistant stainless steels that are able to take a crazy steep edge, you will really dig this stuff!!!

The Blade is a 240mm Chef.. Hardened and Cryo treated. Then tempered to a RC 62.5..
With rounded spine and relieved choil.. Although I tried for hours to get this steel to a mirror finish. Due to the wear resistant nature of this steel. It laughed at most of the abrasives and methods that I tried. So after hours and lots of extra work. I went back to a fine satin finish on the blade. Im a glutton for punishment :spankarse:

Handles are Exhibition grade Afzilia Xlay. I just love this stuff! It looks like a little worms worked their way through the grain of the wood, Leaving a trail behind him. Often times this wood is hard to get a picture that shows the wood for what it looks like in hand. This stuff is so amazingly figured and has such depth of figure that the images came out pretty good. Its still better in person! The handle is hand finished to 2000 grit Then a hand rubbed oil finish applied to bring out the beauty in this amazing piece of wood..
