    Ummm...I fell down the rabbit hole when I ordered a Shun (don't judge) through a promo offer. It was a religious experience compared to my German knives! Started doing some research and found that only scratched the surface of possibilities!!!

    So now I'm into Japanese knives, custom knives, all around better knives and am getting sucked even deeper in with hand sharpening on synthetic and natural stones. Thank you for letting me sign up and I look forward to the conversations!

    I work with numbers and words for a living, so the chance to create something with my hands is something I enjoy. My DH and I both worked food service (he in a high end kitchen) to pay for college so we both enjoy and work well together in the kitchen.
