Finally posting the saya. First one I've made. This is teak wood.
I think it came out pretty good, but I did learn a few things.
I chiselled out the channel by hand. That was fun.
Fit is snug. It doesn't really need a pin at all. But I might go that route.

 

Nice combination. And even hand chiseled. I take the lame way and just route it out.
