Here's a very typical sight of my space at the firehall. Classic firehall drip coffee, my pink mug, and the best pound for pound knife I've ever used, which is why I haven't sold it after multiple offers:

Vintage Village Blacksmith cleaver with an old customized solid cast aluminum handle and large copper rivets with a deep brown patina. Lightly restored with a fresh edge.

May be I should try :.. Combo probably work.

That was homemade peanut butter, something a bit more typical.

A good friend let me borrow some killer knives while he's in school. The bottom layer in the sayas are his, the top are all mine. The coffee is now cold...

Paracelsus Punch blend from Coffee Alchemy with homemade chocolate mud for a late morning choco affogato.

And, of course, the humble Victorinox paring.

Yes, sir. That's the joy of working from home. How about Lonsdale Street roaster? I bought the beans from them a bit when they started out original shop next to the office a few years back, but haven't bought that much the past two years.

But yeah, if it is chocolate affogato, not every good coffeeshop would do it.

  13. Haven't actually had any from Lonsdale Roasters. A bit too far of a walk for me to grab a coffee. Though i should buy some from therw for home at some point.

Here's a next to coffee shot. I seriously hate that coffee cup. One of the cooks got it for me for Christmas last year after I had three coffee cups walk off in one month. The logic was that it had my initial on it so no one would take it. A year later I still have it so I guess she was right.

The ridiculous coffee cups we use in the restaurant don't even deserve a mention.
