That is most definitely a bargain.... So tempted to bid on it at that price... I wonder if the wife would kill me, or just maim me.

 

One of the Gold Dollars just hit $199.99 lol, only $50 behind the full custom!

The little Chinese razors are good shavers, but there is ZERO comparison between those and the custom side by side. I know, I've shaved with them both at the same time lol.

I'm honestly having more fun watching the bidding than I would be if I were buying something lol. Definite thanks to our admin crew (most of which are admins/stewards there as well) for bringing us the opportunity to participate like this.

 

Ran out of nickels. I figured I would. It is such a gorgeous Edison... May need to just price one out.

I've been knocked out on my limit for the things I was interested in.

 

Well that was fun!! Ended up with a Horn Shaving Bowl and 2 Cross Pens and best of all.... the money goes to the NBCF.

Definite fun! I posted that my razor was going for $275 on my facebook pages with 20 minutes to spare, and one of my previous customers came through with a clutch $400 bid. Still a smokin deal, but I was happy to see more money go to the cause .

 

So, Do we have a total $ amount that was raised this year?

I hope everyone here who got involved had fun....I always do....even though this year I was outbid on the items I was interested in..

I hope that didn't happen to everyone.

As we close out our 5th year of the auctions here at Badger and Blade, our team could not be prouder of our members, our vendors, and the supporting merchants who have made this another successful year.
As a result of our members generosity we had over 200 lots in this auction, a first for the event and a great testament to how giving our community is.
This year alone we raised $21,295, which brings our 5 year fundraising total to an amazing $103,223.00 to support women suffering with breast cancer and to help eliminate this horrible disease.

The success of the auction in the name of our beloved Sue Moore has been a wonderful tribute to a woman who helped make our community what it is today.

• 2015 Total: $21,295
• $85,423 to the NBCF
• $18,000 to the Susan B Komen Fund
• 5 Year Total: $103,423

 

Great, great result!! I believe B&B received a nice letter from the NBCF as well
