    That's why I put the smiley behind it. I understand the intention now, but had initially reacted emotionally to the controversial political image of the organization - as I said above, whatever good they may do, they also stand for a lot of things I strongly disagree with, and that is what I felt a need to express.

    I don't see any politics, advocacy or opinions in the original post. Not sure why there was a need to take umbrage. As an aside, there are more knife crimes than gun crimes in my county....why haven't you objected to the EDC forum?
