the heel of the knife? that is new out of the box. the heel is very rounded and excellent fit and finish. the picture is bad lighting and with my old iphone so it doesnt show well. but the heel on this knife is mirror finish.

 

the guy who mounted the handle had to grind the tang down of the konosuke quite a bit so that it would fit in the tiny handle. but it weighs about as much as a pencil! its a very cool knife

Cheers, but to be clear the handles are from Anton and are not my own work! I intend to write a bit more about them in the future, but I quite like them.

 

i have a handle from anton on my konosuke fujiyama 150mm petty and its insane... super slim and tiny and fits the knife perfect. although every time i use the knife i seem to cut myself. its like a pen but insanely sharp. the weight is nearly non existant. its a scary thing!
