All apologies for the awful cell pics, it was quite late last night when all was quiet through the house...

Trying out a Goku Damascus 240 and Richmond Sab 52100. Moderately impressed by the Goku if it has a different handle and the Sab is turning into a something that will pull its weight.

Thought I had a picture of them together... Oh well.
The Goku will probably find its way to BST unless a coworker picks it up.

You really scored with this knife.
The Koa was some of the best fiddleback I had seen.

Some new rocks. Ikarashi 1-3k, and Takashima. Outstanding natural set. Loving the finish of the Ikarashi for my protein slicing - Zakuri 270 Aogami Super Suji and Henkels Friodour boner. Also trying finish on Gutos - seeing if adequate for finish. Leaves a nice scratch pattern for low grit. Takashima cleans it up and finishes around 5-9k for clean slices. I think mine is a bit softer. Love them both. Used on Aogami Super, CPM154, AEBL, V2, Blue no 2, and vintage american carbon all with good results. Ikarashi from JNS, Takashima from JKI.

I'm loving that Kyle Hanson parer. The profile looks great and man is that a cool hamon. Nothing wrong with the handle either.
Have to check out more of his work. Nice catch, CB!

Nice understated handles---I really like them. Just bought a ready-made one from Ken, can't wait to see it.
