Are my eyes deceiving me, or is there more palm swell than the ones Butch made?

There is a fair bit of palm swell, for sure, Rick. I've put a bit of "Coke bottle" in there to add my own flare (albeit borrowed from other knives). I've boticed Butch does add a bit more now, as well. Yours from the first batch had a less curvy handle, and I really really liked them as well. Just mixing it up a tad, that's all. :)

Some great collab work Tom, especially love what you have done with the handles on Andys forged pieces.

  9. Not sure why but I always liked pinless western handles.

The curvy handles are very nice; I am quite happy with the one I got.

Hey guys. I've been even more bogged down than usual with a stomach bug that ran through the family (ending with me), but I managed to finish this up for a really cool guy. He has a lot of the same preferences that I do, in both knives, and "the craft", so he said I could just do my thing. Turns out this is it. :) Hope you guys find it looks average, at best, at the least. Haha.

Hey guys. Here are my latest exploits, in and around being a dad and husband. I have had lots of trouble getting in much shop time, lately, but when I do, I try to make the most of it.

Here is an article that arguably Canada's biggest magazine decided to write about me. It was an honour to be contacted for this piece, and the good news is, it allowed me to work on a couple pieces along the way.

There's a nice little video, but be warned, my voice sounds about three octaves higher than normal...my wife laughed when she heard it. Haha

Hopefully you guys find it to be a good read. :)

Thanks, everyone! I was thrilled to see Pierre, Butch, and Brian get some mention, as well. Without Butch and Pierre, I'd still be trying to figure out how best to flatten scales, and tie my work boots.
