Peeled two lbs of white shrimp just off the boat:

Made a stock from all the shells.

  6. Toast to you then. Enjoy.

  7. Burgers this weekend. Sadly this is actually the best of my cellphone photos...IE I stink at photography. Burgers are combo of ground brisket and chuck. Homemade bacon, store bought cheddar. Tomato, home made pickled cukes and home made pickled red onion. Crispy fries and onion strings.

I was planning something easy like a bowl of cereal for dinner. After looking at these pictures, that idea is right out the window.

I love egg on a burger as much as the next guy.
But I think I like peanut butter better.

  12. Whoa. I've never tried that

There's a sports bar in my hometown that serves it. They call it the Yuck Burger. But there's nothing yuck about it.

Another shrimp lover here. Best I ever had were fresh (i.e. right out of the water) white shrimp tossed for a minute in a hot wok with salt, pepper, and egg white - can't get simpler than that. Neil's burger looks great also. I need to look into this pickling thing...

  16. Looks outstanding Jim!

On the subject of shrimp, our favorite were always Maine shrimp, or what we grew up calling sweet shrimp. Very sad how over fishing and warm waters have resulted in the Feds cancelling the second shrimping season in a row.

Did I say shrimp was my favorite food? I'm pretty sure you are just taunting me. For shame :fp
