Ahhhh! Production!!


All forged and profiled, and three of them are ready for heat treat! A 300mm gyuto (yes, 300mm lol), 270mm sujihiki, 260mm XH gyuto, 225mm XH gyuto, and a 220mm XH gyuto.

One of these is going to be rather complicated project. Including some seriously active redwood burl, nickel/brass mokume, and fossilized walrus tusk .

Fun stuff .

1500 grit. Ignore the streaks...they're from the towel and the Windex lol. This thing is like glass...and needs to go up to 5k still .

If you're watching this close to the time I've posted...the video still has to do some post processing before it reaches 2160p. Trust me...it's worth the wait to see it in full resolution .

We have a rather special piece of buckeye burl planned, and the spacer arrangement is looking like it will be pretty cool!

Once this one's done...I've got a 300mm gyuto (if it'll ever straighten!), a 260mm XH gyuto, a 225 XH gyuto, and a 200XH gyuto . More to come as I get it done lol!
